80,00 People Attended the Engineering Skills Show in Birmingham

Last weekend, over 80,000 people visited The Skills Show in Birmingham at the NEC arena, a three-day career showcase which is the nation’s largest skills apprenticeships and careers event. The show covers five industry sectors, one of which is Engineering and Technology. From apprentices, to students, to schools, to employers, the show really is for everyone.

 

Some of the UK’s biggest employers exhibiting at the show are include engineering and technology businesses such as JLR, BAE Systems, Airbus Operations, Qinetiq, Toyota, BBC, and Dyson. Whether your just starting out or are a seasoned pro, the show offers opportunities for everyone

 

Ben Blackledge, WorldSkills UK director of education and skills competition, explains: “the Skills Show provides us with the opportunity to showcase the very best the UK has to offer, as well as giving young people the chance to try things out first hand,”
