And in order to gain the assurance you’re looking for when it comes to running your business safely and ensuring your workforce is free from harm, we recommend you look into P.A.T testing.
It’s worth noting that over 25% of all reportable electrical accidents involve portable appliances, such as laptops. Furthermore, the Electricity at Work Regulations place a legal responsibility on employers, employees and the self-employed to comply with the provisions of these regulations. What that means to you is you need to take practical steps to ensure no danger results when using such necessary work equipment.
After all, taking the necessary precautions now might save you a lot of worry later.To be compliant, you must implement a maintenance system when it comes to testing and inspection. The good news is we can help with that, though. Consider which appliances are used by your employees and which might also be used by members of the public. If you’d like 38 to 50 items tested, the cost will be an additional £1.30 per item, with items from 51 to 100 coming in at an additional £1.10 per item.
