Beverley Racecourse is a thoroughbred horse racing venue located in the town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England with a history of racing on the site dating back to the mid-1700s. JLM Mechanical and Electrical carried out a comprehensive programme of mechanical and electrical works as part of a major refurbishment of public and employee areas at the historic racecourse.
Our mechanical engineering team completed a range of works including a full commercial kitchen fit-out and installation of domestic services, upgrades to the gas mains, installation of gas safety systems, the design and installation of an HVAC system and removal, cleaning and reinstallation of ceilings throughout.
JLM’s electrical engineers implemented a new supply of electrical works, which included stripping out existing electrical works, and then carrying out trunking & tray installation, small power installation and other electrical services associated with the mechanical services provided. In addition, we designed and installed a lighting system, including emergency lighting, as well as configuring and installing new television, public address and fire alarm systems.
