JLM Mechanical and Electrical designed and implemented a comprehensive programme of mechanical and electrical works for a newly constructed 12,249 sq ft Hyundai car dealership located in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The project spanned multiple disciplines including heating design and installation, plumbing, electrical, lighting and security/safety features.
Our mechanical engineering team designed, supplied and installed a showroom and office VRF heat pump system, along with a room cooling system. We additionally installed general water services and plumbing fixtures, including low-pressure hot water pumps and pipework and a wet radiator system, as well as an above-ground drainage system. In addition to this, we supplied and installed Ambirad heating along with extract ventilation systems, controls and wiring.
Our electrical team supplied, configured and tested general power and electricity supplies to the site, and installed lightning protection, earth bonding and surge suppression. We designed and installed a lighting system comprising lighting fixtures and controls as well as emergency lighting.
We supplied small power installation, and installed appliances including hand dryers and TVs, as well as running CCTV and loudspeaker power cabling throughout the showroom and offices. We implemented HVAC power supplies and roller shutter door power supplies and installed both fire detection and disabled WC alarm/alert systems.
