All About VRF and VRV

Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) is a highly sophisticated technological air conditioning system. Oftentimes referred to as Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV), there are no differences between VRF and VRV except that VRV is a term trademarked by Japanese air conditioner manufacturer Daikin. Most other companies will use the term VRF.

VRF and VRV operate using a refrigerant as the cooling and heating mechanism, utilising a system that consists of a network of ducts that connect each room in a building. From there, a single unit extracts the air and humidity from the wet rooms of a property, whilst retaining external fresh air. As a result, VRF provides fresh, filtered air, whilst removing condensation, odors and indoor pollutants consistently throughout a property in each and every room.VRF can also simultaneously aid and significantly improve the climate control of a building. In fact, up to 95% of the hear recovered from the unit can be repurposed and reused. As a result, VRF and VRV are also incredibly energy efficient, and can reduce your bills as well as your carbon footprint.
